Harry Potter™ objects + environments
Kano is a creative computer company in London who make computer and coding kits. In 2o17, they teamed up with Warner Bros. to make the Harry Potter Codeable Wand Kit. In this kit, you’ll make your own code wand, explore iconic Wizarding World locations and code jellybeans, control fire, stun Grindylows, fly a Hippogriff, and more.
Coding is like magic; it gives you incredible powers and new ways to look at the world. To keep that feeling intact, the coding experience had to feel in-universe, immersive, empowering, and not break the spell of curiosity and creativity. Therefore, we put a lot of thinking and effort into designing objects and environments to make your transition from muggle to coding wizard as fun as possible.
Objects can be manipulated with code to move, scale, change appearance and interact. With the right code blocks, you’ll fill your screen with Puking Pastilles, change the colour of Pygmy Puffs, and float Butterbeers – all with the wave of your wand. We illustrated a library of objects to make any of your ideas possible.
